Chronoswiss Watch Flying Regulator Night and Day CH-8763-SISI
Since 1987, Chronoswiss have become synonymous for their regulator watches, a design which sees three separate registers for the hours, minutes and seconds. The Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator Night and Day Limited Edition watch does a spin on this classic aesthetic incorporating a date window and a unique three-dimensional night and day display on a white galvanised dial. The domed day and night indicator is placed at 9 o’clock and made of blued titanium. When night falls, the complication reveals a starry sky which glows impressively in the dark thanks to a helping of Superluminova. The elaborate dial continues to impress with a skeletonised small seconds and feuille-shaped hour and minute hands contrasting in blue.
The powerhouse to the Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator Night and Day watch is the Calibre C.296 automatic winding movement. Spotted through the exhibition case back, the movement delivers 31 jewels, a rhodium plated pallet, circular grained bridges, and a white galvanised Cotes de Geneve oscillating rotor. The Swiss made calibre also guarantees a power reserve of 42 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement is protected within a 41 millimetre case engineered from stainless steel with curved sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating, a screw down bezel and a satin-finished onion-shaped crown water resistant to 100 metres. In balance of the white dial, the Chronoswiss Night and Day watch is paired with a hand-sewn Louisiana alligator leather strap in black with white stitching and a classic stainless steel folding buckle.
